Bound by Light

My latest piece captures the power of a gaze and the magic of a sunset.

Two women, portrayed in soft shades of gray, meet in a moment of deep connection – their eyes speak closeness, trust, and unspoken emotions. The background glows with warm orange and green hues, reflecting the transition from day to night.

Abstract, pertspective-driven shapes emphasize the setting sun, adding a sense of depth to the drawing. It's not just the light illuminating the moment but also the connection felt within.

Seven Little Gnomes in the Forest

This morning, my wildlife camera captured something truly special: seven mischievous gnomes, hiding secretly in the woods! These tiny creatures, rarely seen by anyone, live deep in the forests, ensuring that the magic of nature never fades. Some say they protect the animals, While others believe they safeguard the ancient secrets of the forest.

It's said that if you look closely enough, you can catch a glimpse of them – just for a fleeting moment before they disappear back into the moss.

Perhaps more encounters with these little woodland dwellers are yet to come...

Highland Cattle

The proud and majestic Highland cattle, with their shaggy coats are one of the most beautiful and mysterious cattle breeds. I like to imagine these gentle, serene creatures standing in the cool wind of the Scottish Highlands, where the quietly reflect the rugged beauty of the landscape and resiliently withstand wind, rain and snow.

Poison Dart Frog

Although the Dendrobates stratus is less toxic than some of its relatives, it still carries a gentle yet effective poison that provides the protection it needs in the wild. This little frog is a living testament to the clever and diverse ways nature designs its creatures. Wonders and magic are hidden in the smallest details of the world.

The Plains Zebra

The plains zebra is not only one of Africa's most iconic animals but also a true wonder of nature. With its unmistakable black and white stripes it stands out in the vast savannah. These stripes not only help with camouflage but also keep the herd together—talk about a team player! The plains zebra lives in large herds and spends most of its day grazing. It can reach speeds of up to 65 km/h to escape predators like lions. Speed and unity are its greatest strengths!

Did you know that each zebra's stripes are as unique as our fingerprints? This makes every zebra a little work of art by nature.
